Seaham Sea Glass Pendants

Special pieces of rare sea glass, set in Sterling Silver with open back plates to allow the colours of the glass to shine through.

These special pieces of sea glass were found in Seaham (North-East England) which is well known for its sea glass, particularly multicoloured pieces. There were bottle factories there in the Edwardian and Victorian eras which used to dump waste glass into the North Sea at the end of the day. The last of these factories closed over 100 years ago- so these little bits of glass have been tumbling around being shaped by the waves for 100+ years!
